If objects are placed in the mobile phone stor-
age compartment, these may be damaged by
electromagnetic elds.

Do not place credit cards, storage
media, ski passes or other objects sensi-
tive to electromagnetic elds in the
mobile phone storage compartment.

If liquids enter the mobile phone stowage
compartment, the compartment may be dam-
aged.

Ensure that no liquids enter the mobile
phone stowage compartment.
The following notes on wirelessly charging the
mobile phone must be observed:

Depending on the vehicle equipment, the
mobile phone is connected to the vehicle's
exterior antenna via the charging module.
R
The charging function and wireless connection
of the mobile phone to the vehicle's exterior
antenna are only available if the vehicle is
switched on.
R
Small mobile phones may not be able to be
charged in every position of the mobile phone
stowage compartment.
R
Large mobile phones which do not rest at in
the mobile phone stowage compartment may
not be able to be charged or connected with
the vehicle's exterior antenna.
R
The mobile phone may heat up during the
charging process. This may particularly
depend on the applications (apps) currently
open in the background.
R
To ensure more e cient charging and connec-
tion with the vehicle's exterior antenna,
remove the protective cover from the mobile
phone. Protective covers which are necessary
for wireless charging are an exception.
