Hood
>
To open:
Pull lever (1) under the LH side of the
instrum ent panel to unlock the
hood. The hood opens to the safety
catch stop. At the same tim e g rip (2)
w ill pop out of the radiator grille.
Pull grip (2) out of the radiator grille
as far as the stop and lift up hood
(windshield w iper arms must not be
folded out).
Closing:
Close hood by depressing it firm ly.
Note:
There is a risk of injury when the
hood is open and the engine is run­
ning.
The engine is equipped with a tra n ­
sistorized ignition system. Because
of the high voltage it is highly dan­
gerous to touch any components
(ignition coil, distributor, spark plug
sockets, ignition cables, diagnostic
socket) of the ignition system
• if the ignition is “ o n ” and the
engine reved manually
• while starting the engine
• with running engine
