Seat Heater
The seat heater can be switched on
with the steering lock in positions
“ 1” or “ 2” .
Pushbutton center position
= seat heater switched off
Pushbutton position 1
= continuous operation
Pushbutton position 2
= quick heating
An indicator lamp in the switch
comes on when the seat heater is
switched on.
To save the battery, position 2
should not be switched on any
lon ge rtha n absolutely necessary if
the engine is switched off.
Safety Headrests
Adjust headrest to support the back
of the head approxim ately at ear
level.
Safety headrests, front
Height adjustm ent:
Press headrest slightly forward (1)
and reset upward or downward as
required.
Detaching headrests:
Pull headrest out to the stop. Re
lease arrester by depressing release
knob to be felt under the covering
material in rear of back rest and pull
headrest upward quickly, holding it
by the LH headrest post (viewed in
driving direction). Finally, pull out
head rest com pletely w ith both
hands.
The headrest release knob is located
below the LH headrest post (2).

Pull up headrest until resistance can
be felt. Then pull it out quickly using
both hands.
