4.2 Machine-specific safety information
• The power tool must only be connected to mains
sockets with a voltage and frequency that matches
the information provided on the type plate of the
machine.
• Make sure that all operating components are
functional before starting work.
• Never operate the power tool if there is any
visible damage on the cable, housing parts or
other power tool components.
• Maintain electric power tools and attachment
tools with care. Ensure that all moving parts
function correctly and do not grate or show breaks
or any other damage, which could negatively
impact the function of the electric power tool. Any
damaged parts must be repaired by a MENZER
Service workshop before use of the electric power
tool.
• Ensure that the machine cannot be accidentally
activated before connecting the tool to an electric
mains outlet to avoid accidents.
• Always hold the power tool with both hands to
ensure that you have the tool fully under control
and damage is avoided.
• Remove all tools (e.g. spanners, wrenches) from
the work area before switching on the power tool.
• Run the power tool for around 1 minute with the
driving disc facing away from your body to ensure
correct operation.
• Only hold the power tool on the insulated grip
areas to prevent any danger of electrocution,
should the power tool damage hidden electric
cables or its own power cable.
4. Safety information
4.1 General information
Caution! Please read all safety information
and instructions!
• Store the operating manual in a safe place for
future use.
• Only utilize the power tool for its intended use.
Any work performed with the power tool, for
which it was not designed, may result in damage
to assets and injury to personnel.
• Non-compliance with the instructions and
other information or compliance errors may re-
sult in electrocution, fire and/or severe injuries.
• This power tool must not be operated by per

sons with physical/mental disabilities or physical
perception impairments or which are not familiar
with the use and handling of this power tool
type. Children are not permitted to operate this
power tool!
• The use of this power tool by adolescents
within the scope of professional technical train-
ing is permitted. The stipulations set out in the
Youth Work Protection Act (JArbSchG) apply.
• Store the power tool outside the reach of
children.
• Children must maintain a safe distance while
the electrical power tool is in use.
• Do not permit an operation of the power tool
by any person who has not read the operating
manual.
• Defective power tools must only be repaired by
a MENZER Service workshop.
• Remain vigilant at all times and do not allow a
false sense of security to set in. Do not bypass
any of the safety guidelines for electrical power
tools, even if you feel you have mastered its
operation after many hours of practical use.
• Be attentive, concentrate on your work and use
common sense in all tasks involving an electri-
