Connecting the Sensor and Headphones to the Indicator Unit
The coiled cable supplied is used to connect the sensor. Because the plug type and pin
configuration match at both ends of the cable, you can choose any cable alignment.
One end of the cable is connected to the socket
on the indicator unit and the other
end to the socket on the top of the sensor (see illustration). The plug is aligned by the
guides on the plug and the grooves on the socket. You must hear and feel the plug
engage.
Depending on the headphones used, this is connected to the indicator unit via either a
3.5 mm jack socket
or Bluetooth (see page 87).
