SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions carefully before use to avoid the risk of personal injury
and/or material damage.
WARNING
Always take basic safety precautions when using the machine
to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or personal injury. Read
these instructions carefully before assembly and use.
•
Do not switch function mode while welding is in progress,
this could damage the machine.
•
Connect the welding handle cable to the equipment
before welding.
•
The machine must only be used with an approved residual
current device.
•
Only use consumable materials and accessories of good
quality.
•
The machine must only be used by qualified personnel.
Avoid the risk of electric shock
•
The machine must only be connected to a correctly
earthed mains outlet.
•
Never touch live parts, electrodes or conductors with your
bare hands. Always use dry welding gloves when working
with the machine.
•
Always make sure that you are insulated from the
workpeice.
Welding produces fumes/gas that are harmful to
health.
•
Avoid inhaling fumes/gas from the welding.
•
Only use the machine in wellventilated areas.
The light from the welding arc damages the eyes
and skin.
•
Wear a welding visor, welding glasses and suitable
welding clothes.
•
Keep other people, especially children, and pets at a safe
distance from the work area.
Fire hazard
•
Welding spatter can cause fires. Do not use the machine
in the vicinity of flammable substances, or close to walls
or ceilings.
•
A functioning fire extinguisher should always be available.
