CROSSCUTTING 90° AND

1. Place the workpiece on the turntable and
press it against the fence.
2. Fix the workpiece with the clamp on the
fixed saw table, so that the workpiece
cannot move during the sawing.
3. Press the lock button and start the saw
med the switch.
4. Wait until the saw blade has reached top
speed.
5. Move the saw head slowly and smoothly
down, with a light but firm pressure on
the handle, until the blade has passed
through the workpiece.
6. After sawing, raise the saw head back to
its top position and release the power
switch.
WARNING!
Do not release the handle – the saw head is
fitted with a return spring and will rise too
quickly and out of control if the handle is
released fully. Instead, allow the saw head
to rise slowly and in a controlled manner by
applying moderate counterpressure to the
handle.

The workpiece can be mitred at an angle of
0–45° to the right or left relative to the fence.
1. Move the saw head to its top position.
2. Release the turntable.
3. Adjust the turntable to the required angle
with the handle.
4. Lock the turntable in the required
position.
5. Secure the workpiece and start sawing.
• Undo the lock nut and turn the adjusting
screw until the angle between the saw
blade and turntable is 45°.
• Lock this setting by tightening the lock
nut.
NOTE:
Set square sold separately.
HOW TO USE
WARNING!
For 90° crosscutting the sliding fence should
be locked in its inner position, as per the
instructions below.

1. Undo the locking screw on the sliding
fence and push in the fence.
– The sliding fence should be locked no
more than 5 mm from the blade.
2. Before sawing, check that the saw blade is
completely free of the fence.
3. Tighten the locking screw.
WARNING!
The sliding fence should be locked in its
outer position when the product, by angling
the saw head or turntable, is used for mitre
sawing 0–45°.
