is the abbreviation for Insulin-to-Carb Ratios.

Insulin to Carb (I:C) Ratios

An Insulin to Carb (I:C) ratio features the amount of carbs you can cover with
one unit of insulin.

Because this ratio may vary throughout the day, you can program up to eight I:C
ratios. Your healthcare provider may only have you program one or two carb
ratios when you first start using the bolus calculator feature.

Note:

If you set only one Insulin-to-Carb ratio, it will be used for the entire 24-

hour period.
