13. Troubleshooting

Malfunctions can sometimes occur for quite simple 
reasons but they may also be caused by defective 
components. We have included a brief troubleshoo-
ting guide below that may help to solve any problems. 
If these tips don’t solve the problem, we’ll be more 
than pleased to help you out. Just give us a call.

13.1. Troubleshooting

13.1.1. General

The device will not switch on.

• 

The USB connection of the television does not deli-
ver an adequate output voltage.

 

Connect the ZoomBox to a USB mains adapter 
using the USB cable.

 

If you are already using a USB mains adapter, 
connect it to a different power socket.

No picture.

• 

The wrong video input is set on the television set 
or the television set has not yet detected a signal 
on the HDMI connection.
