9. Using the Miracast function
In Miracast mode, the screen content and sound of
the smart device are projected to the television that is
connected to the ZoomBox via the HDMI cable.
The native display resolution of the smart device is
used on the television, even if the latter has a higher
resolution.
In Miracast mode, your smart device connects with
the ZoomBox using a direct Wi-Fi connection (Wi-Fi Di-
rect). Any existing Wi-Fi connection of the smart device
will remain active.
9.4.1. Screen projection on Android
Start the ZoomBox Connect app on your smart de-
vice.
If necessary, select the left
symbol
at the upper edge
of the screen to switch to Mira-
cast mode.

The ZoomBox Connect screen
appears with the button for
connecting with the ZoomBox.
Tap the displayed button.
