8.3. Switching
off automatically
You can set a time after which the device automatically switches to standby mode.
To do this, the device must be switched on.
Press the
SLEEP
button on the remote control repeatedly to set the required
time: 90 minutes > 80 minutes > 70 minutes etc. down to 10 minutes.
A bed symbol will appear on the display to indicate that the SLEEP timer has
been set.
To switch off the sleep timer, press the
SLEEP
button repeatedly until

pears on the display.
8.4. Setting/switching
off the timer
You can set a time when the device will switch on and off automatically every day.
Switch the device on.
Press and hold the
CLOCK/TIMER
button on the remote control until
ON
and
a clock symbol appear on the display.
Use the
or
buttons to set the required switch-on time. First select the
hours, then the minutes. Press the
CLOCK/TIMER
button after each step to
confirm the setting.
OFF
and a clock symbol now appear on the display. Use the

buttons to
set the required switch-off time. First select the hours, then the minutes. Press
the
CLOCK/TIMER
button after each step to confirm the setting.
Now select the operating mode
FM

CD

USB
with the

buttons and
press
CLOCK/TIMER
to confirm.
Switch the device back into standby mode. To do so, press the
STANDBY
but-
ton on the device or on the remote control. The time appears.
To switch the timer on or off, briefly press the
CLOCK/TIMER
button. A clock
symbol appears/disappears accordingly.

8.5.1. Volume
Press

To mute the sound completely, press

on the remote control.
