started
7.1. Inserting batteries in the remote control
Open the battery compartment cover as shown on the back of the remote con-
trol.
Insert the supplied CR 2025, 3 V battery in the remote control.
7.2. Connecting the loudspeakers
Ensure that your device is not connected to the mains power supply.
Plug the speaker cables into the correct, corresponding sockets on the rear of
the Micro Audio System. R (right) for the right loudspeaker, L (left) for the left
loudspeaker.
7.3. Mains
connection
Once you have made all the connections, connect the plug to an easily accessi-
ble 100–240 V ~ 50/60 Hz. mains socket.
8. Basic
functions
8.1. Switching on the device/standby
To switch on the device, press the
STANDBY
button on the device or on the re-
mote control. Symbols appear on the display.
To switch the device back into standby mode, press the
STANDBY
button on
the device or on the remote control.
The device is now in standby mode again and the time will appear on the display.
The display lighting dims after a few seconds.
8.2. Setting the time
Switch the device to standby mode.
Press and hold the
CLOCK/TIMER
button on the remote control.
Press
or
to set 12-hour or 24-hour format.
Press the
CLOCK/TIMER
button to confirm the setting.
The hour display flashes. Press the
or
buttons to set the hour.
Press the
CLOCK/TIMER
button to confirm the setting.
The minute display flashes. Press the
or
buttons to set the minutes.
Press the
CLOCK/TIMER
button to confirm the setting.
The time is now set. You can display the time for several seconds at any time by
briefly pressing the
CLOCK/TIMER
button.
