Error Solution
For all problems • Check if the mains and telephone cables are plugged
in correctly.
• Check the telephone at a different telephone socket.
• Check the battery indicator to see if the batteries are
charged.
• Check whether the handset is correctly registered.
• Check whether the handset is within the range of
the base station.
The display on
the handset is
blank • Check whether the handset is switched on.
• Check whether the batteries are charged and
inserted with correct polarity.
No dialling tone • Check whether the base station is correctly
connected.
• Check whether the handset is switched on, charged,
correctly registered and within the range of the base
station.
The display on

shows " OUT OF
RANGE!" • Check whether the base station is correctly
connected.
• Check whether the handset is within the range of
the base station.
• Check whether the handset is registered with the
desired base station.
• Check whether the batteries are charged and
inserted with correct polarity.
No ring tone on
handset or base
station • Check whether the base station is correctly
connected.
• Check whether the volume of the ring tone has been
switched off.
• Check whether the handset is within the range of
the base station.
• Check whether the batteries are charged and
