8. Preparation for Starting-Up
To operate your Device safety and ensure a long service life, you should read the
“Operational safety” chapter at the beginning of this manual. All operating software
is already fully preinstalled on the Device so there is no need for you to install any
more drivers and you can get started right away.

Connect the supplied mains adapter to device. Then connect the mains cable to
a power socket.
PLEASE NOTE!
When first operating your device please ensure that the
mains adapter is connected.

Switch the device on by pressing the on/off switch. The device will now start
and run through various steps.
The operating system is loaded from the tablet’s SSD. The loading process takes a
little longer during the initial setup. Once all the necessary data has been entered,
the operating system will be set up. The operating system is fully loaded once the
Windows
®
start-up screen appears.
PLEASE NOTE!
Do not unplug the device from the mains or switch it
off during the initial installation. This may adversely
affect the installation.
Do not switch off the device until after the installation
has been completed successfully and the
startup
screen appears.
9. Power Supply
9.1. On/Off Switch

Hold the on/off switch down briefly to switch the device on or off.
Regardless of the operating system, the device will switch off if the switch is held
down for longer than 4 seconds continuously.
PLEASE NOTE!
To protect the SSD, you should always wait for
5 seconds after switching off the device before
switching it back on again.
