• The sleep light is fl ashing. The Notebook is in sleep mode.
Solution :

The Notebook turns itself off during operation.
− The battery may be fl at. Plug the Notebook in using the mains adapter
and charge the battery.
The Notebook cannot be switched on.
− If you are running the Notebook on batteries, check that they have been
inserted correctly and are fully charged.
Wrong time and date displayed.
− Click the clock display in the taskbar. Select Change date and time
setting and enter the correct values.
The WLAN/Bluetooth connections do not work.
− Check that fl ight mode is disabled.
The touchpad is not working.
− To activate the touchpad, press the Fn+F9 keyboard shortcut.
Apps (e.g. the weather app) cannot be displayed as live tiles.
− Check the date, time zone and time.
