5. Cleaning
Turn off the device and pull the plug from mains before cleaning. The external box may be
cleaned with customary cleaning agents. Do not, however, use any caustic, scratching or
acidic cleaning agents. Do not bring water into the device’s interior.
Please pay attention to the instructions of the disinfection manufacturer.
For disinfection the following agents can be used:
KORSOLEX FF – Liquid (Bode Chemie, Hamburg)
Biguanid Fläche (Dr. Schumacher, Melsungen)
Make sure that no Liquid come inside the
Précise 6000!

Daily
Rinse the nasal canula with clear, warm water. When an autoclavable effervescent
humidifyer is used it should be cleaned, respectively autoclaved, according to the
instructions given by the producer of that autoclave effervescent humidifyer. Non-
observance of the instructions can lead to a contamination of the effervescent
humidifyer.

Weekly
Rinse the nasal canula with clear, warm water (see daily instruction). Afterward to decoct
10 till 15 minutes in water or with dishwasher on high level (
no
fluid or dish liquid).

Option I
Clean Ionization Head Unscrew ionization head and rinse with clear, warm water. Boil out
once a week for 10 to 15 mi-nutes clean in dishwasher at maximum temperature. Leave
to dry afterwards. The mask and the ionization head can be treated with the desinfection
spray offered. Use only dry ionization heads.
