Diagnostics 

Mediaimager functionality also includes advanced test tools for monitoring the hard disks condition. 
Using implemented diagnostics makes is possible to acquire a lot of information about the device’s 
health, bad sector count and more. Checking connected drives is a very simple and straightforward 
process. 

In order to start diagnostics press the “Diagnostics” tile in the main menu or click the Wrench Icon 
from any place in the application using the shortcut panel on the left side of the screen. 

 

 

 

The Diagnostics window contains a list of hard drives currently connected to Mediaimager presented 
in the upper section of the screen.  

In  order  to  start  testing  your  disk  simply  click  on  it.  After  a  few  moments  a  set  of  some  easy  to 
analyse and some more advanced details about the device will be presented. 

The Diagnostic function is available for media connected as a source and a target.
