Disk to disk (cloning 1:1) with marker
The process is identical to the one described above on pages 21-23. However, in the window
enabling the selection of checksums and information about the media, the user can choose a new
option called "Set source length marker":
This means that after making a copy, a marker will be placed on the source media. This tag is used to
ensure that the process of calculating checksums ends on this tag. In this operation, the checksums
of the source and destination media will match.
The difference between the process without a marker is that the checksum of the target medium is
calculated from the entire surface of the medium.
The above functionality is applicable in some countries and therefore has been made available in the
Mediaimager.
