over-tightened, it is best to completely
loosen the strap before re-securing it to
ensure an accurate reading.
Step 7: Before tightening the first band
above the knee, pull up on the top
section of the garment to ensure that
there is no bunching at the knee. Do not
apply the knee cover at this point.

Step 8: Continue tightening remaining
bands. When finished, verify the card
measures the same value at each of the
straps. The top of the sock may be folded
over the top edge of the legging.

Step 9: Wrap the knee cover over the
front of the knee and fasten the two
short bands to the legging. Apply the
knee cover as tightly as needed.

Step 10: Readjust the bands as needed
throughout the day to provide firm and
comfortable compression.

Note:

Slightly loosen the bands for night-time
wear.

Step 11: If using a circaid cover up ensure
all straps on the circaid graduate whole
leg are securely fastened and slide the
cover up over the garment. Secure it to
the legging using the hook tabs at the
top edge of the cover up.

Note:

The cover up can be worn to prevent the
collection of lint on the tabs and to protect
surrounding fabrics during night use.

Doffing

Step 1: To remove the circaid cover up,
simply detach the two hook tabs and
slide the cover up off the leg. Attaching
the hook tabs to the provided piece of
woven loop material will aid in keeping
the hook tabs lint free.

Step 2: Disengage all tab ends of the
circaid graduate whole leg and loosen
the straps.

Step 3: Refasten the tab ends at their
loosest position.

Step 4: To help slide the garment off,
insert the opposite foot into the loop at
the base of the legging and push to slide
the legging off.

Step 5: Slide off the sock.

Trimming the circaid® graduate knee

cover - for clinican use only!

If the knee straps pull through to the
edge of the neoprene, the neoprene can
be cut down.

Step 1: Remove the straps from the
rings, and pull the neoprene away from
the back of the straps.

Step 2: Cut the neoprene as needed,
staying to the outside of one of the
reinforced seams.

Step 3: Re-attach the straps to the
neoprene and continue tightening the
straps.

Donning the circaid® graduate

lower leg

Step 1: Don the included sock.

Step 2: Position the legging with the
straps at the front of the leg and the
vertical guidelines along the inside of
the leg. Ensure the foam lining wraps
completely around the foot and leg, and
extends just beyond the top and bottom
edges of the outer shell. Slide the legging
onto the leg; use the handles at the top
of the garment to assist with sliding it
on. Do not pull on the foam lining
