The shelf-life date is printed on the
carton label with the symbol of a “sand
glass“.
Made-to-measure garments are
products for immediate use and do not
have a shelf-life date.
Lifespan
Due to material wear and tear the
medical efficacy for standard and
made-to-measure models can only be
guaranteed for a defined lifespan.
This assumes correct handling of the
garment (e.g. proper care, donning, and
doffing).

Disposal
Please dispose of in household waste. No
special criteria for disposal apply for
medical compression garments.

Since made-to-measure garments are
custom-made devices pursuant to EU
Directive 93/42/EEC they do not bear any
CE marking. They satisfy the
fundamental requirements of
Attachment I of the Directive.
Important Reminder
The patient should return at least one
month after wearing the garment to
check the circumference of their leg. If

Purpose
The garments are devices designed to
provide foot and leg compression to
patients with lymphatic disorders.
The graduate garments are comprised of

The circaid graduate boot is comprised
of the integrated foot piece only

Relative contraindication
due to a known contraindication the
attending doctor weighs up the wearing
of a medical compression garment (for a
suitable indication such as chronic
venous insufficiency, etc.), and compares
the possible risk with the therapeutic
benefit of the medical device.
