INTRODUCTION
1. Purpose and Content of this Manual
This Optional Equipment Manual describes
the Airframe Fuel Filter (900P5663200) for
the model MD900
r
helicopter.
This manual contains system descriptive and
operation information with instructions for
maintaining, inspecting and testing on a
periodic maintenance cycle to assure continued
airworthiness.
2. Applicability
(Ref. Table 1)
The airframe fuel filter system is applicable for
use on any MD900 (902 Config.) helicopter
with Pratt & Whitney 207E engines.

Except as modified by this rotorcraft
maintenance manual supplement, oper-
ation in compliance with the basic
MD900 Rotorcraft Maintenance Manual
(RMM) is mandatory.
The information presented in this supplement
is in addition to the information found in the
basic Rotorcraft Maintenance Manual (RMM).
This maintenance manual supplement must
be used with the basic RMM to assure safe
operation of the aircraft.
A. Publication Distribution
This manual is distributed to the end users (or
their mechanics or maintenance departments),
Repair Stations and other companies by
request only. At system installation, this
manual becomes part of the helicopter
permanent maintenance record.
B. Related Publications
This manual supplements the individual user
and maintenance manuals of the MD900
helicopter and system components. The
aircraft maintenance personnel should be in
possession of and refer to the manuals listed in
the List Of Applicable Publications (LOAP)
when performing aircraft maintenance
activities.
Whenever the installation or operation of this
equipment affects the operation of the basic
helicopter, appropriate mention of the affected
procedure, limitation, operation, will be
described in this supplement.
