NOTE: Orient tube spacer slot downward on
horizontal runs and aft on vertical runs.
(1). If necessary, install tube spacers (18) on
the tube assemblies.
Sealing Compound (C211)
(2). When installing a new tubing spacer,
apply a bead of sealing compound
(C211) around the spacer on the tube.
(3). If necessary, install engine feed tube
(17). Torque tube nut (Ref. CSP−SPM).
(4). Install upper tube (16) and outlet hose
(15).
(a). Connect upper tube (16) to the
engine feed tube (17).
(b). Install flareless tube union (11).
Torque union and tube nut (Ref.
CSP−SPM).
(c). Connect outlet hose (15) to upper
tube (16).
(d). Install flareless tube union (11).
Torque union and tube nut (Ref.
CSP−SPM).
(e). Install outlet hose (15) into enclosure
(20).
(f). Connect the outlet hose (15) to
airframe fuel filter (19). Torque hose
nut (Ref. CSP−SPM).
Grease (C109)
(5). Lightly lubricate outside surface of
beaded tube end at enclosures with
grease (C109).
(6). Install upper shroud (14).
(a). Place upper shroud (14) on outlet
hose (15) and upper tube (16).
(b). Install nut (2), washer (3), clamp (4),
washer (3), and bolt (5) on upper
shroud (14).
(c). Install nut (2), washer (6) and clamp
(7) on upper shroud (14).
(d). Install clamp (13).
(e). Install end of upper shroud (14) over
beaded port ends on enclosure (20).
Secure with lockwire (C702).
(f). Install tie−wraps (1) along upper
shroud (14).
(7). Install lower tube (10) and inlet hose
(9).
(a). Connect lower tube (10) to fuel
interconnect tee fitting vapor shroud
box (12).
(b). Install flareless tube union (11).
Torque union and tube nut (Ref.
CSP−SPM).
(c). Connect inlet hose(9) to lower tube
(10).
(d). Install flareless tube union (11).
Torque union and tube nut (Ref.
CSP−SPM).
(e). Install inlet hose(9) into fuel filter
enclosure (20).
(f). Connect the inlet hose (9) to airframe
fuel filter (19). Torque hose nut (Ref.
CSP−SPM).
(8). Lightly lubricate outside surface of
beaded tube end at enclosures with
grease (C109).
(9). Install lower shroud (8).
