3.
The start end of each roll (from the
core) should be threaded through the
pigtail guide, directly above it, going
from left to right. The 3 rolls in each
row must be joined together so that
the twine is continuous. This applies
to the middle and bottom rows only,
as the top row is purely for storing
spare rolls.
4.
Use a simple sheet knot to join the
twine. Once the knot is pulled tight,
trim the tails short.
5.
As the twine rolls get used up when
baling, twine is pulled from the 1st
roll, then the 2nd roll and finally the
3rd roll.
The tail end of the 1st roll should be
knotted to the start end of the 2nd roll.
The tail end of the 2nd roll should be
knotted to the start end of the 3rd roll.
Then thread the start end of the 1st
roll through the eyelet to the right.
6.
Fit the bungee cord for each row.
Ensure the canvas cover is in place
over the middle row to prevent dust
and debris from falling.
The tail end of the 3rd roll, in each
row, should be tucked under the
retaining bungee cord to keep it
secure. This helps prevent the twine
from knotting and snagging up.
