INSTALLATION
1. Lock-out and tag-out the leveler.
2. Support the leveler in the stored position
with securing the maintenance props in the
maintenance position (See page 24).
3. Remove lower hoist cylinder mounting pin(s).
4. Turn power back on, cycle the hoist cylinder up
and down at least once to make sure cylinder is
fully extended.
5. Position the RRH platform to 5 degree over
center. After adjusted tighten jam nut.
6. Install rue clips in lower mounting pin(s).
7. Move Maintenance props to stored position.
1. Begin by supporting the RRH leveler in the stored
position with securing the maintenance props in
the maintenance position.
2. Lock-out and tag-out the leveler (p.24).
3. Disconnect the lower hoist cylinder mounting
pin(s).
4. Open down speed flow control valve (turn
counter clockwise). Down speed control valve is
located on hoist cylinder or valve block (p.29).
5. Restore power to the leveler.
6. Cycle the hoist cylinder(s) up and down at least 6
times using the leveler’s own hydraulic power.
7. Reconnect the hoist cylinder rod eye(s) to the
base of the embed or carriage.
8. Adjust down speed flow control to factory
settings. The settings is a leveler down speed
of 15-20 seconds from stored to full below dock
position.
9. Maintenance props must be rotated and secured
in the stored position.
10. The lip cylinder is self purging. Lower the leveler
to a 45 degree angle. Cycle lip by depressing
the LOWER and LIP button(s) together to lower
the lip. Depress the RAISE and LIP button(s)
together to raise the lip.
