Connection for a Combination of Internal and External
Chimney
Image 8 shows the stove installation with a
combination of internal flue ducts and an external
chimney.
The external chimney must be insulated, the top must
be fitted with a cap for rain and wind protection, and it
must have a condensation regulation system.
The internal flue ducts do not have to be insulated,
they must have adequate sealing at the joints. It is very
important to place a rosette (chimney plug) on the wall
and seal it tightly so that it does not leak smoke, if the
smoke comes in contact with the wall, the reaction may
result in staining. A condensation system on the flue
ducts is also required.
