user’s memory cell, the scale calculate the
percentage of fat and water in the body of a
20-year-old man with low physical training
level and 170 cm high.
Change of fat percentage in a human body
during the day
The indications of fat percentage in a human
body are affected by such factors as lifestyle,
physical exercises, health condition and also
water percentage in the body.
You should take into account the following
factors:
– the fat percentage indications may be less
if measured after taking a bath or a shower,
– the fat percentage indications may be higher
if measured after having meal or drinking,
– percentage of liquid in a human body may
decrease and thus change the fat percentage
indications during and after illness and after
physical exercises.
Water percentage in a human body
Water percentage in a human body is the
percentage ratio of liquid in a human body and
total weight. Water has primary importance for
tissues and organs of a human body, since 50-
65% of our body consists of water. With this scale
you can control the percentage of water in your
body and correct this important characteristic.
What is muscle bulk?
Muscle bulk value shows the weight of locomotive
system muscles, plain muscles (heart and
digestive system) and water in these muscles.
Control of muscle bulk is especially important
for people with excessive weight and obesity.
Weight loss may lead to decrease of fat tissues,
but only if you gain muscle bulk at the same time.
What is bone mass?
Bone tissues are the base of human skeleton;
they are solid and resistant to external actions,
protecting the internal organs, and together with
muscle tissue providing human ability to move.
Bone mass measurement is based on calculating
the minerals mass in a human body (calcium
or other matters). The research showed that
development of muscle tissues makes skeleton
stronger. This fact should be taken into account
when making up diet and calculating physical
activity for strong and healthy bones.
Bone mass practically doesn’t change; however,
some decrease is possible under many factors
(weight, height, age, sex). That is why there are
no indications of changes direction and their
interpretation.
There

standard
values
and
recommendations as well.

Temporary connection of the results
Pay attention to the fact that all results of
calculations and simple weight measurements
will be significant only if you compare the results
over a sufficiently long period of time. Short-
term changes of the weight within several days
are as a rule the result of trivial loss of liquid in
your body tissues.
Evaluation of the results is based on changes
of total weight, fat percentage and water
percentage in body tissues and depends on the
period, when these changes happened.
Short-term indication changes during a day
can be significantly different from the indication
changes within a week or a month.
As a rule, short-term indication changes are
connected with percentage of liquid in body
tissues, and medium- and long-term changes
are caused by changes of fat percentage and
muscle bulk volume.
– Short-term weight loss and simultaneous
growth or constant fat percentage in body
tissues may be caused by decreasing of liq-
uid amount as a result of physical exercises,
visiting sauna or quick weight loss.
