frothed milk: after you make the required amount of
coffee, set the switch (3) to the position «PAUSE»,
the unit will be switched to the standby mode.
–
Take a narrow high glass and fill it with cold
milk or cream approximately by 1/3.
–
Put the tip (6) into the glass and set the switch
(3) to the position
. The tip (6) should not
touch the bottom of the glass, as this can hin-
der the steam release; with certain skill you
can make frothed milk in several seconds.
–
In several seconds switch the steam supply off
by setting the switch (3) to the position «OFF».
–
Clean the cappuccinator pipe (5) and the tip
(6) right after milk or cream frothing. To do
this, put the pipe (5) with the tip (6) into a
glass of water and switch the steam supply
on by setting the switch (3) to the position
; after some time switch steam supply off by
setting the switch (3) to the position «OFF».
–
Wait until the coffee maker cools down,
remove the tip (6) from the pipe (5), wash it
under a water jet and install to its place.
Important:
–
The milk intended for frothing must be fresh
and contain no preservatives, do not use so-
called «long storage» milk.
–
It is recommended to take usual whole milk
with fat content from 4 to 6%, cream fat con-
tent should be not less than 10%.
WARMING THE DRINKS
You may warm the drinks, to do this, put the cap-
puccinator pipe (5) without the tip (6) into the cup
with the drink and switch the steam supply on by
setting the switch (3) to the position ; after some
time switch the steam supply off by setting the
switch (3) to the position «OFF».
DESCALING
For effective operation of the coffee maker we
recommend to remove scale every month and
more often when using “hard” water.
Regular descaling extends the coffee maker’s
operating life and eliminates the necessity of fre-
quent repair works.
Untimely descaling, non-observance of these
instructions and mishandling the coffee maker are
not covered by warranty.
–
Make sure that the unit is unplugged and the
switch (3) is in the «OFF» position.
–
Prepare a citric acid solution (2 tea spoons per
1 liter of water). Fill the flask (12) with the solu-
tion up to mark «4», then pour the solution into
the water tank and cover it with the lid (1).
–
Insert the filter (7) into the holder (8) (pic. 1).
–
Attach the filter holder (8) to its place without
putting coffee into the filter (7) (pic. 2, 3).
–
Place the flask (12) with the lid (11) on the tray
(13).
–
Insert the power plug into the mains socket.
–
Set the operation mode switch (3) to the
position
, the indicator (4) will light up
and the heating element will be switched on.
When all the solution goes out from the coffee
maker, set the switch (3) to the position «OFF».
Repeat the procedure several times in case of
considerable amount of scale.
–
Fill the flask (12) with the citric acid solution up
to the mark , pour water into the water tank,
close the lid (1).
–
Put the cappuccinator pipe with the tip (6) into
a suitable container and set the switch (3) to
the position
. When all the solution comes
out from the pipe (5), set the switch (3) to the
position «OFF».
–
After descaling the unit, wash the coffee
maker with clean water several times repeat-
ing the actions described above.
Note: You can use special descaling agents for
coffee makers or coffee machines to remove
scale. Strictly follow the instructions on their usage.
