•
Do not use the coffee maker if the power cord
or plug is damaged, if the unit works improp-
erly or after it was damaged.
•
Do not disassemble the coffee maker by your-
self, if any malfunction is detected or after the
unit was dropped, apply to the nearest autho-
rized service center.
•
Do not use abrasive detergents, caustics or
solvents which may damage the unit body
parts or inner parts when cleaning the cof-
fee maker.
•
Transport the unit in the original package only.
•
Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of reach of
children and disabled persons.
THE UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USAGE
ONLY
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
After unit transportation or storage under cold
(winter) conditions, it is necessary to keep it
for at least two hours at room temperature
before switching on.
–
Unpack the coffee maker, remove any stick-
ers and package materials that can prevent
unit operation.
–
Check the unit for damages, do not use it in
case of damages.
–
Make sure that the operating voltage of the
unit corresponds to the voltage of your mains.
–
Before the first use of the coffee maker, wash
all removable parts in warm water with a neu-
tral detergent: water tank lid (1), removable tip
of the cappuccinator pipe (6), coffee filter (7),
filter holder (8), flask (12) with lid (11), drip tray
(13) and measuring spoon (14).
–
Wipe the body (2) of the coffee maker with a
soft, slightly damp cloth and then wipe it dry.
Cleaning the coffee maker
–
Place the coffee maker on a flat stable sur-
face.
–
Make sure that the power plug is not inserted
into the mains socket, and the operation mode
switch (3) is in the position «OFF».
–
Unscrew the water tank lid (1) by rotating it
counterclockwise.
–
Fill the flask (12) with water up to the mark «4»
and pour the water into the tank.
–
Install the lid (1) to its place and turn it clock-
wise as far as it will go.
–
Insert the coffee filter (7) into the holder (8)
(pic. 1). Do not put coffee into the filter (7).
–
Install the filter holder (8) to its place. To do
this, match the ledges of the holder (8) with
the notches on the coffee maker body (2) by
placing the holder handle (10) as shown on
pic. 2. Then turn the handle (10) to the right as
far as it will go (pic. 3)
–
Install the drip tray (13) to its place.
–
Cover the flask (12) with the lid (11) and place
it on the tray (13).
–
Insert the power plug into the mains socket.
–
Switch the coffee maker on by setting the
switch (3) to the position
, the indicator
(4) will light up and the heating element will be
switched on.
–
After all water passes through the filter (7), set
the switch (3) to the position «OFF».
–
Let the unit cool down during 1-2 minutes,
then unscrew the lid (1) again and pour water
into the tank.
–
Repeat the cleaning procedure several times.
Washing the cappuccinator pipe (5)
–
Before washing the cappuccinator pipe (5),
place a suitable cup under it.
–
Detach the lid (1).
–
Fill the flask (12) with water up to the mark ,
pour the water into the tank and screw the lid
(1) in.
–
Set the operation mode switch (3) to the posi-
tion , the indicator (4) will light up and the
heating element will be switched on. At first
some amount of water may drip from the pipe
(5), and after that steam will be released more
intensively.
–
After some time switch the steam supply off
by setting the switch (3) to the position «OFF».
–
When the cappuccinator pipe (5) cools down,
install the removable tip (6) on it.
ATTENTION! IMPORTANT INDICATIONS
•
Before opening the lid (1) and filling the tank
with water, make sure that the switch (3) is set
to the position «OFF» and the power plug is not
inserted into the mains socket.
•
Use only clean water and keep the water tank
clean.
•
Always use the coffee flask (12) supplied
with the unit to measure the required
amount of water. The water level in the
flask (12) should not exceed mark «4» (it is
the maximum capacity of the coffee maker
tank). Pour the water from the flask (12)
into the water tank.
