CHARACTERISTICS
• Long service life. If properly used, this battery can last up to 5-8 years, that is over twice as
long as a lead-acid one.
• Highly efficient Lithium-Iron-Phosphate (LiFePO4) cells, with maximum discharge rate up to
70C.
• Better performances at low temperatures than the those provided by the major existing
competitors.
• Highly reduced self-discharge. The battery will still be able to jump start a vehicle after being
stored for one year at room temperature (between 0°C and 25° C).
• Thanks to its high energy density, it weighs one third of the equivalent lead-acid battery.
• The equalization circuit of the cells during charging protects the battery from overcharging.
• The casing can withstand temperatures up to 230°C and it is water-proof.
• Working temperature between -20°C and 55°C.
PRECAUTIONS
If used in accordance with the instructions provided, the battery will not explode or burn. Should it
be used for different purposes other than vehicle starting, or outside the limits laid down in these
instructions, we won’t be liable for any damage caused to people or items by such unauthorized
use of the battery.
Do not charge the batteries at voltages over 15V.
Do not use lead- acid battery chargers with the automatic desulfation function in their charge cycle.
Do not short-circuit and do not connect with reversed polarity. Do not open, disassemble, deform
or modify the battery.
Do not overcharge or over discharge.
Keep out of children’s reach.
Discharge the battery fully before taking it to a recycling center. When not in use, store it in a dry,
fresh and well-ventilated place.
Charge the battery every six months and, anyway, when it falls below 12.8V.
Use the spacers provided if you need to adapt the battery to a larger space.
Should the electrolyte leak out of the battery, do not touch it as it can cause damage to your skin
and eyes. In case of contact with your skin, wash immediately with water and soap. In case of
contact with your eyes, rinse with water and seek medical help.
The starting capacity can decrease at temperatures below 0° C.
Do not use the battery together with other batteries of a different capacity, type or brand.
