been installed

car has a switchable
retractor, you may also
use it to lock the belt.

If it moves more than 1 in. (2.5 cm), you can try:
• Holding the base
ONLY at
the belt path
with your non-
dominant hand.
• Pushing and pulling from
side to side.
• The base should not move
more than
1 in.
(2.5 cm).

when tightened
