3. Set the Mode switch to “Picture” to take a digital photo, or
“Video” to record a video.
4. Press the Center button to take a picture in Picture Mode or
start recording in Video Mode.
5. Press the Center button a second time to stop recording in
Video Mode.
Battery Installation/Replacement
The Vidster™ uses 4 AA Alkaline batteries to
power it. Make sure the unit is off. Locate the
battery cover on the underside of the device.
(1)Use a Phillips screwdriver (not included) to
loosen both screws. (2)Remove battery
cover. (3)Insert four fresh “AA” alkaline
batteries in the orientation shown. (4)Replace
the cover and tighten both screws.
For longer life, use only alkaline batteries.
Battery Safety Information
In exceptional circumstances batteries may leak fluids that can
cause a chemical burn injury or ruin your product. To avoid
battery leakage:
• Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the product before
being charged (if designed to be rechargable).
• Charge rechargeable batteries only under adult supervision
(if designed to be rechargable).
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable
(nickel-cadmium) batteries.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type
as recommended.
• Insert batteries with the correct polarity.
• Remove exhausted batteries from the product.
• Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
• Dispose of batteries safely.
• Do not dispose of this product in a fire. The batteries inside
may explode or leak.
