Cleaning the Exterior of your Washing Machine
•
Clean the outside of your washing machine with a soft cloth and mild detergent such as
kitchen detergent.
•
Don’t splash water over the washing machine.
•
Do not use cream cleansers, thinners or products containing alcohol or kerosene.
Cleaning the Detergent Drawer
1. Remove the detergent drawer by pulling and pressing the softener cover at the same time.
2. Lift the clip to remove the softener cover.
3. Wash out old detergent from the drawer with water. (Use a cloth to clean the washing
machine.)
4. Replace the softener cover.
5. Fully re-insert the detergent drawer into the machine.
Residue detergent soon builds up if you don’t clean the drawer regularly, and can develop
mould.
Maintenance - Cleaning the Washing Machine
Cleaning the Drum
If you keep using cold water in your washing machine, this may cause a build-up of bacteria
inside the drum, which can give off an odour. You can avoid this by running the “drum clean”
programme once a month. If you use a scale remover, follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
Don’t put laundry in the washing machine during the drum cleaning.

button to provide power.
2. Turn the Programme Selection Dial to “
Drum
Clean
” .
3. Press the
Start/Pause
button.
4. The washing machine will sound when the
programme is complete.
