, the serial port will send a request to send (RTS) signal. If the line is clear, the
connected device sends a clear to send (CTS) signal. Once received, your unit will begin transmitting data.

, the connected device will send a transmitter-on (XON) signal. As its buffers get full, it
will send a transmitter-off (XOFF) signal to your unit and your unit will stop transmitting. When it is ready to
receive again, the connected device will send a transmitter-on (XON) signal.
