Printhead Cleaning
It is advisable to clean the printhead when light-coloured or white streaks appear on the printed card in the
direction of printing:
The edge of the printhead must be cleaned using the special impregnated swab or the cleaning pen.
The edge of the printhead must be cleaned to remove residual ink or dust.
Printhead Cleaning Procedure
1)
Unplug the printer from the power supply.
2)
Open the printing module compartment covers.
3)
Using the cleaning swab that is provided
in the Cleaning Kit, clean the printhead by
rubbing the swab it in the direction
indicated by the arrow in the figure below.

4)
Re-insert the support and close the print module compartment. The cleaning procedure has been
completed.
