OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING!
•
In the event of a power failure, or when the tool is not in use, turn the switch
OFF. This action will prevent the tool from accidentally starting when power
returns.
•
ALWAYS make sure your workpiece is not in contact with the cutting wheel
before operating the switch to start the tool. Failure to heed this warning may
cause the workpiece to be kicked back toward the operator and result in serious
personal injury.
•
To reduce the risk of accidental starting, ALWAYS make sure the switch is in
the OFF position before plugging tool into the power source.
•
The cutting wheel will continue to rotate for a few seconds after the machine
has been switch off. Wait for the cutting wheel to stop before removing the
workpiece or making any adjustments.
•
Stop the machine immediately if there is undue vibration or some other fault.
If this situation continues, check the machine to find the origin or the fault.
WARNING!
•
DO NOT allow familiarity with the tools to make you careless. Remember that
a careless fraction of a second is sufficient to inflict serious injury.
•
ALWAYS wear eye protection with side shields marked to comply with
ANSI 787.1 (CSA Z94.3). Failure to do so could result in objects being thrown
into your eyes, resulting in possible serious injury.
•
DO NOT use any attachments or accessories not recommended by the
manufacturer of this tool. The use of attachments or accessories not
recommended can result in serious injury.

APPLICATIONS
•
This tile saw shall be used only to cut tiles to a required size or shape. It shall not be used to cut inflammable,
explosive or toxic materials. This product should not be used on other materials or those harmful to health.
It’s not suitable for cutting marble or granite.
•
Other uses for the machine will lead to the damage of the machine and a series of dangers to the operator.
This appliance is for private and household use, not for professional or industrial ones. Only accessories identical
to the ones provided with the tile saw are authorized. Never use the appliance in the rain or other
wet conditions.
•
For safety reasons it is essential to read the entire instruction manual before first operation and to observe
all the instructions therein.

NOTE:
The mitre guide can only be used when the rip guide is installed.
INSTALLING MITRE GUIDE (Fig. 7)
•
Place slot on underside of the mitre guide (11) on the
rip guide (1).
INSTALLING OVERFLOW DRAIN (Fig. 8)
•
Firmly push overflow drain (18) into hole in the bottom
of the water reservoir.
ON/OFF SWITCH (Fig. 9)
•
Press the “I” marked on the on/off switch (6) to turn on
the machine.
•
Press the “O” marked on the on/off switch (6) to turn
off the machine.
