GENERATOR BATTERY
Your generator is equipped with an automatic battery charging circuit that charges the battery
while the engine is running. The battery will maintain a proper charge if the unit is used on a
regular basis (about once every two weeks). If it is used less frequently, the battery should be
connected to the included 120 V Smart Charger to keep the battery properly charged.
The battery should be fully charged at least once per month. If the battery is not able to start
the engine, it can be started by manually pulling the engine recoil cord. If the battery voltage is
extremely low, the charging circuit may not be able to re-charge the battery. In this case, the
battery must be connected to a standard automotive style battery charger for
re-charging before it can be used.
The owner/operator is responsible for all periodic maintenance.
Complete all scheduled maintenance in a timely manner.
Correct any issue before operating the generator.
