2.3.2. BASE STATION IN SLAVE MODE
The base station must be also prepared to receive information from LOGS50 at
any time. I. e., to work as slave element. The information to be transferred by
LOGS50 is determined on its configuration which is the element that indicates
an action the logger has to carry out and when has to do it. For the base station,
the information is unknown and therefore, it must be designed to be able to
receive and process the information sent by the master. In this case, LOGS50.
It is important to bear in mind that every time the logger transfers
information to the base station, this base must be prepared to
synchronize the logger with the current date and time. LOGS46 loggers
have a crystal of 5ppm precision for its internal real time clock.
