Lubricate the dust seal (14) and fit it onto the top
of the slider.

Before assembling the elastomer shims, lubricate
them. Performance is best if they are only slightly
lubricated. Fit the elastomer shims (26-27) and
the reed (28) into the inner rod (11) according to
their previous setting.
IMPORTANT: always start with the part
having the smallest diameter and finish
the support reed (28). If improperly assembled,
the fork will not function properly.
Fit the outer tube (38) into the rod with the thicker
side facing the elastomer shims.

Turn the adjuster screw to the min. damping
position.
Clamp the inner rod end and the outer tube end
into a vice and tighten gently. Stop as soon as the
first part of the inner rod (11) slot can be seen. Now
fit the pin (21) into the slot and open the jaws
slowly until the pin is into the outer tube seat (38).

Prima di rimontare il pacco di elastomeri è
necessario inumidirli con olio lubrificante; solo in
questo modo potranno svolgere correttamente la
loro funzione. Installare nell’asta interna (11) la
sequenza di elastomeri (26-27) e la lamella (28)
precedentemente rimossi.
IMPORTANTE: partite sempre con
l’elemento di diametro minore e chiudete il
pacco con la lamella di appoggio (28). Un errato
montaggio pregiudica il buon funzionamento della
forcella.
Introdurre nell’asta il tubetto esterno (38) con il
lato di spessore maggiore rivolto verso il pacco
elastomerico.

Portate nella posizione di minimo smorzamento la
vite di registro.
Stringete in morsa l’estremità dell’asta interna e
quella del tubetto esterno e serrate lentamente.
Fermatevi appena risulta visibile la prima parte di
asola ricavata nell’asta interna (11). A questo
punto inserite nell’asola la spina (21) e aprite
lentamente le ganasce fino all’inserimento della
spina nella sede del tubetto esterno (38).
