Select the PC Port over which the PROFILER ST is connected
to your PC.
3 Select the number of measuring systems ( No. of axes ),
which are connected to the PROFILER ST and are enabled in
the
Encoder menu.

4 Select the same Baud rate , which is selected in the
PROFILER ST (factory setting: 57,600 baud).

Note:
The baud rate selection is only relevant for an RS-232
connection to your PC. With a USB connection, the baud
rate selection has no effect.
5 Select the Output file format which should be used when
saving your data.

Confirm your entries by clicking on the OK button.
GetPos is now configured for communication with the
PROFILER ST.
When using GetPos for the first time, it generates the configu-
ration file
GetPos.cfg , in which the settings adopted by you are
saved. The configuration file is saved in the folder, in which the
file
GetPos.exe is stored.
