Encoder
In the
Encoder 1/2
menu, you can select different evaluation
options for the connected measuring systems. In addition, with
the choice of encoder types you decide which connected mea-
suring systems are evaluated by the PROFILER ST.
NOTICE
Incorrect measurement from wrong configuration!
When configuring the PROFILER ST, you must indicate the cor-
rect encoder type for the connected measuring systems.
Incorrect position values from relocating the machine
zero or changing the encoder type!
Position correction values are valid as long as the location of
the machine zero and the chosen encoder type are unchanged.
If you, after entering position correction values,
•
relocate the machine zero,
•
approach another reference mark to set the machine zero,
•
change the function for determining the machine zero or
•
change the encoder type,
you must delete all previously stored position correction values
and enter new position correction values.
