Getting Started

Push the SELECT button once to power the unit on.  The display will
show a 4 digit elevation.  The SELECT button is also used to cycle
through the 4 operating modes and turn the unit off.  You will see a light
next to the operating mode that is currently selected.

Operating Modes

1.  PRESET MODE

Push the SELECT button until the light is

next to “PRESET”.

Use the (+) and (-) button to enter the known elevation or use
your own elevation.  The elevation changes when the mast is
raised or lowered.

To reset the elevation to “0” push the (+) and (-) buttons at the
same time.

2.  SURVEY MODE

Push the

SELECT button until the light is next to “SURVEY”.

When the unit is in survey mode the sensor tracks the laser
beam and the mast moves accordingly.  The panel will display
the changing elevation.

3.  SET AUTOMAST MODE

Push the SELECT button until the light is

next to “SET

AUTOMAST”.  Press the (+) or (-) to set the elevation change.
For example, if you set it at

“00.10” it will then adjust one tenth

(+) or (-) per foot.  You are now ready to Activate AutoMast.

4.  ACTIVATE AUTOMAST MODE

Push the

SELECT button until the light is next to “ACTIVATE

AUTOMAST”.  Each time the (+) or (-) is pushed the mast it will
move the distance you selected in the

“SET AUTOMAST” mode

above.

This mode is valuable when building a ditch bank, house pad or
leveling large acreage using 2 transmitters set at different
elevations.
