FUNCTIONS ON THE CONTROL PANEL
(See picture1)
1.
LCD-display. Shows the number of wash cycles since the last water change.
2.
When pressing this button, the displays will show the total number of wash cycles of the machine.
3.
A yellow light is flashing when the machine has washed 300 wheels (adjustable) and it is time to change the water in the
machine. When changing the water, press the button during 3 seconds to set the display to zero.
4.
This button is used for collecting the granules (see the chapter “CHANGE OF WATER”). (The dynamic flush pipe will
then take a given position and the pump will run during 5 minutes.)
5.
These are start buttons for the wash cycle. Preset duration of 30, 60, 90 or 120 sec. In all buttons a green light will be lit
when the machine is ready for operation. When you have started a wash cycle, the button you have pressed will remain lit
and the others will go out. (Before the pump motor starts, the dynamic flush pipe (no. 7 picture 3) will move to the starting
position if it is not already in that position.)
6.
Stop and alarm button. A red light is lit when something is out of order. If you press the button during the wash, the pump
motor will stop and the dynamic flush pipe will move to the starting position. If the lid is opened during the wash cycle, the
operation will be interrupted immediately.
7.
Bar graph which with rising green bars will indicate how far the selected wash cycle has come.
8.
Button that starts a cycle with air blowing only.
9.
With this button activated, the machine washes wheels up to maximum size.
10.
With this button activated, the movement of the dynamic flush pipe is limited, meaning that smaller wheels (up to c.a.
600mm outside diameter) will be washed with extra intensity.
CHANGE OF WATER
After washing 300 wheels, you should change the water and clean the machine.
(The basic setting of 300 washing cycles can be re-programmed as follows: simultaneously press key 2 and key 120 seconds
and set the desired number with key 30 or 60 seconds. Then activate with key 120 seconds.).
Please note that
when the machine is filled with water, it may only be lifted with a fork-lift truck from the
FRONT, not from the back or from the side
. Otherwise you risk you damage the bottom tray.
1.
First, the granules should be collected as follows. Top up with water until the water level reaches the upper notch of the red
level indicator (no. 2 picture 3). Place the granules basket in the wash room and close the lid. Press the yellow button with the
granules basket symbol (no. 4 picture 1) and let the machine run until it stops automatically (approx 5 min). As the granules
is collected in the basket, you can easily check that you have the correct amount of granules, by checking that the granules
level reaches the notches on the side of the basket (symbol 3 picture 2).
If this is not the case, top up with some more
granules.
2.
Remove the service lid (no. 9 picture 3) and remove the baffle plate (no. 10 picture 3). Empty the dirty water into the drain
using the drain hose (no. 13 picture 3). You may leave the water over the weekend to let the dirt sink to the bottom to avoid
that it will be drained out with the water.
3.
Remove the dirt sediment from the bottom of the machine with a proper shovel and then rinse the machine. Please note
that the dirt should be handled as hazardous waste.
4.
Put the granules back into the machine by turning the basket over on the lid and top up with water until the lower notch of
the red level indicator is reached (symbol 1 picture 2).
RUNNING-IN
When the machine is new, the surface of the pump and pipes will wear and fragments from the manufacture of the granules
will liberate themselves
.
An extra change of water and rinse of the machine after 100 washes is therefore strongly
recommended. The granules should then also be rinsed while they are collected in the basket.
