Switch Inputs
On the back of the Ether2DMX8 router are 8 Switch Inputs that are connected with a terminal block.
They are simple contact closures that can be activated with any switch or relay.
Each Switch Input can be assigned one single action to execute.
The higher Input number has the higher priority and only one input can be processed at a time.
This means whenever input 8 is closed, the status of inputs 1-7 is ignored.
Please note that when a cue is assigned to an input it will run as long as the input is closed.
Hardware
Required Terminal blocks are provided with the router.

Connect a switch or temporary switch for the desired contact closure number.
Do not switch to a common ground. Every pair has to be wired separately.
Do not apply any voltage to contacts. Doing so will damage the router and is not covered
under warranty !
