Ether2DMX8 User Manual
DMX Configuration
This menu allows to assign the desired options for the DMX ports.
Use Menu #6 to access the DMX Configuration.
DMX Port Options
Enter the DMX Configuration and use the arrow keys to browse to the desired DMX port.
The current settings can be seen easily on the bottom row.
In this example DMX Port 1 is set to Output of Artnet Universe 001.
Hit Enter to access the settings menu.
The following settings are possible:
Mode
Output
Artnet Output of a specific Universe
Input
Artnet Input of a specific Universe
Disable
The port is not active
Send 0
The port send a value of 0 on all 512 channels
Source
Source setting is only available when the Mode is Output.
IP
The Output is generated from the Artnet Stream
Clone 1- 8
The Output is identical to the DMX data of another port
Merge 1- 4
The Output is generated from a Merge Slot
