10. Broadcast 10.x
This mode can be used if the Ether2DMX8 shows performance drops.
Performance problems can show as slowed down refresh rate or changes being out of sync on the
different outputs.
The box processor can become overloaded by large amounts of Artnet traffic is Artnet is sent as
Broadcast traffic. It is not recommended to send more than 32 Universes in Broadcast Mode.
However not every Artnet sender can handle Unicast.
This mode will adjust the internal data routing to reduce processor load, but it results in a non Artnet
compliant device as the unit will calculcate 8 Universes on a single Artnet Node (the specification is 2
Nodes of 4 ports).
Use this mode only if there is a problem using the Maxedia Preset which is fully Artnet compliant.
Use the up and down arrows to set the desired Universe ranges for Node A and B. Confirm with
OK
(Enter button).
