IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Please read all instruction manual before use.
Before the first connecting of the steam iron check that voltage indicated on the rating label corresponds with the mains voltage in your home.
Home use only. Do not use for industrial purposes.
Do not immerse the steam iron into water or other liquids.
Never yank the cord to disconnect from the power supply; instead, grasp the plug and pull to disconnect.
Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces.
Always unplug the steam iron from the power supply when filling with water or emptying and when not in use.
Do not operate the steam iron with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been dropped or damaged in any manner. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble the steam iron, take it to a service center for
examination, repair or mechanical adjustment.
Close supervision is necessary when appliance is used near children.
This appliance is not for use by children.
Do not leave the iron unattended while hot or connected or on an ironing board.
Position the iron carefully on an ironing board to avoid it from being knocked over.
Burns can occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water or steam.
To protect the soleplate from scratching, avoid ironing over snaps, zippers, metal buttons, etc.
Do not place the steam iron on metal or rough surfaces.
CAUTION:
To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another high wattage appliance on the same circuit.
HOW TO USE
SETTING TEMPERATURE
Sort the fabric: wool with wool, cotton with cotton, etc. Start ironing the fabrics requiring the lowest temperature and progress to the higher ones, because the steam iron heats up quicker than it cools down.
If the fabric consists of various kinds of fibres, start ironing the fabrics requiring the lowest temperature (e.g. article consisting of 60% polyester and 40% cotton should be ironed at the temperature indicated for polyester (•) and without steam.
Turn the temperature control dial round until it is opposite the setting pointer.

FILLING THE WATER TANK
Unplug the steam iron before filling.
Set the steam control switch to the „‟0 ‟‟ position(for the models МТ-1125,1126, 1144).
Hold the steam iron in the horizontal position.
Slowly pour water into the water fill opening with the help of plastic beaker.
Do not fill higher than indication “МАX” of the water tank, in order to avoid spilling out of water.
If you have to refill while ironing, unplug the appliance from the power supply before filling.
EMPTYING THE WATER TANK
The water tank should be emptied after each use.
Unplug the steam iron from the power supply.
While the steam iron is still warm, hold the steam iron over a sink and allow the steam iron to drain by tipping the point of the steam iron down.
