Spring
a. On the new pressure sensor cables, strip the
end of each cable and crimp pins to each
stripped cable.
Tip:
If you do not have the necessary
tools to do these operations on the
wires, another solution is to keep the
old wires connected to the connec
tor, cut them at mid-length and sol
der the new wires to them.
b. Clean and apply grease on all o-rings.
c. Install the components in the same order as
on the picture 1.
d. Insert the install tool into the hole in the end
cap and tighten with the flat screwdriver to
set the pressure sensor in place. The install
tool is longer than the normal screw in order
to push the pressure sensor to the bottom of
the hole.
e. Remove the install tool. It is no longer need
ed.
f. Put the spring into the hole in the end cap
(picture 2).
g. Apply thread locker on the screw thread and
tighten the screw into the end cap with the
flat screwdriver to hold the spring in place.
