Activating / deactivating the drive
Press the button to deactivate the drive.
Press the button again to reactivate the drive.
Applying the sheet
The operator must open the punch beforehand for this. By pressing and holding the button
for at least 2 seconds lets the punch approach the position to apply the sheet.
Drawing in the sheet
By pressing and holding the button for at least 2 seconds lets the punch rotate by a
predefined angle at 5 m/min so that a sheet can be drawn in.
Register regulator
First, you must home the register regulator. This requires the punch to be open. This action
is only possible in PREP mode. Pressing and holding the REF button for at least 2 seconds
homes the axis. If a homing sensor does not exist (see
Punch submenu), the current
position of the punch is set as home. If a homing sensor
exists, the motor locates the sensor and
sets the home position there.
The register regulator can only be activated after the drive has been homed.
There are three possibilities of switching on the register regulator:
1. New mark
The system locates a register mark on the web, and employs and holds this position as home.
2. Presetting
In presetting we distinguish between "First job presetting" and "Presetting".
If necessary, any other requisite actions (for instance reference run and "translative synchronous
mode") are also carried out.
2.1 First job presetting
If a product has not yet been processed, first job presetting calculates a register position
such that the register nearly fits. The punching cylinder is moved to this position. The
register regulator is activated. The register is held at this position. Next, register corrections
are possible to adjust to the exact register. This action is only possible in PREP mode. Pressing and
holding the button for at least 2 seconds executes the action.
2.2 Presetting
If a product has already been processed, you must first load the product. Next, use
presetting to move the punching cylinder to the position it was in relation to the register
mark when the product was saved. The register regulator is activated. The register is held
at this position. This action is only possible in PREP mode. Pressing and holding the button for at least
2 seconds executes the action.
