Selecting the storage location
In the default setting, the jobs are stored on the compact flash card of the B&R industry PC. Using the
buttons
and
, you can select the storage location. The other commands of the job memory are
related to this storage location.
The option of selecting the storage location depends on the machine configuration. It is not
necessarily available on all machines!
Saving a job
Use the following procedure to save the parameter set you have selected on the machine:
New job:
1. Allocate job number and/or job name.
Touch the orange box ("Current job") to open an on-screen keyboard.
Enter a job name of max. 30 characters.
2. Add an annotation to the job. (Max. 78 characters per line)
3. Press the "Save" button.
Overwriting the current job:
1. Next to the "Current job" there is the current job name in the grey box. This must not be
blank. Otherwise save a "New job" first.
2. Press the "Save" button.
Loading a job
Use the following procedure to load the job data:
1. Select the job name you want to load from the drop-down menu.
2. Touch the "Load" button.
Loading a job is only permitted in STOP or PREP mode!
3. Acknowledge the warning.
Deleting a job
Use the following procedure to delete the job data:
1. Select the job name you want to delete from the drop-down menu.
2. Touch the "Delete" button.
3. Acknowledge the warning.
