Internal clock
In the section “Use this sample rate”, you can type
in, which sample rate the TRACE PRO AE shall
work with, if it is not busy with playing back or
recording tasks of an audio application. For
example, if you use the TRACE PRO AE purely as a digital mixer.
In choosing “last used rate”, the sample rate, which was used last by a
recording or a playback through a software, is kept by the TRACE PRO
AE.
Sample rate conversion (SRC)
Here you can find the options of the sample rate
converter for the digital input. Activating the option
“activate automatically” will generally allow
sample rate conversion on the input, except if the
clock source of that input was chosen. On “Never active” the sample rate
converter is deactivated permanently. Note: With this setting only, the
transmission of DAT markers like from a DAT recorder will be possible.
Word clock input

unit in a word clock chain, you can set the
